Opulus – Table Lamp
From: $555.00
The Opulus draws inspiration from nature, taking the airy lines of the eponymous flowers. The Opulus is the quintessence of the Rispal spirit, using the same lampshade as its big sister, the Praying Mantis. The Mini version features a mouth blown opaline lampshade. The structure is handcrafted in France from noble materials such as oak, ash and walnut and features a black lacquered metal base (different depending on the size of the lamp). The electric cord is in anthracite grey fabric but other colors available upon request.
Georges Léon Rispal founded his lighting company in Paris in 1924, achieving notable success by the early 1950s with the “Formes Nouvelles” catalog, which offered avant-garde lighting influenced by Scandinavian design. Inspired by Rispal’s innovative approach, Douglas Mont relaunched the iconic models, preserving the brand’s original style and avant-garde spirit.
