Caprice Rug
From: $2,184.00
The Caprice carpet by Vincent Darré is the most accomplished creation of this unclassifiable phenomenon of the Parisian scene. Alternately director, costume designer or decorator of exuberant interiors, he offers here a watercolor where the influences of Vallauris ceramics are found; the fish emblem of luck, and the deep colors of the Mediterranean seabed, reminiscent of his travels to Capri in the footsteps of Godard’s film, The contempt. This multicolored rug will brighten up even the wisest of decors with its colourful accents.
Technique and composition: This wool tufted rug uses an exclusive dyeing process and a deep wash to produce faded tones, with abrasion effects that reproduce the original watercolor.
